Site Summary Overview

The "Site Summary" provides a detailed overview of a specific site within the project management application, including essential information such as operational details and location. This section is accessible by drilling down into a selected site from the "All Active Sites" list.

Accessing the Site Summary

To access the summary for a specific site:

  1. From the list of sites, click on the Site ID of the site you wish to view.
  2. The "Summary" tab will open by default, presenting an organized view of the site's critical information.

Understanding the Summary Details

The summary page is divided into two main sections:

Basic Details

  • Business Unit: The division or department within the organization that the site is part of.
  • Operations Type: The primary function or operations carried out at the site (e.g., Sort Center, Delivery Station).
  • Co-Located: Indicates whether there are additional operations or services at the same location.
  • Launch Date: The date when the site was officially opened or went operational.
  • Surface Area: The total area occupied by the site.

Location

  • Address 1 & 2: The street address for the site.
  • City: The city where the site is located.
  • Postal Code: The postal code for the site's location.
  • State: The state or region where the site is situated.
  • Country: The country in which the site exists.

  • Update Regularly: Ensure that site details are kept current to reflect any changes in operations or structure.
  • Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of the location details to facilitate effective communication and logistics planning.
